I am a writer. It’s the very heart of me, and has been since I could hold a pencil in my hand. And this site serves as the hub for my work and my passions. Here you’ll find examples of what I do to keep my kids on soccer and swim teams, marching band and music lessons. Writing is also what keeps me sane.

LitzyDitz came to me as a passion project of sorts—my love of books and sharing great suggestions with friends. After launching my blog here, I moved it to ChicagoNow.com, where you can keep up with my reviews and opinions on all things literary.

I mentioned kids above—I have three, along with a husband and two really demanding cats. And they all tend to need my full attention at the same time. But I wouldn’t trade it for anything, except maybe another MSU basketball championship.
